CAD Technician

Responsibilities:

• • – Produce AutoCAD drawings for:
    • – Drawings for Condition Assessment Reports
    • – Design, Tender and Construction Working Drawings
  • – Prepare quantity takeoffs and budget estimates
  • – Site work:
    • – Jobsite work progress review
    • – As-built measuring for design purposes

Requirements & Qualifications

• • – 2+ years’ experience in Architectural Drafting/AutoCAD drawing production
  • – Proficiency with AutoCAD 2012
  • – Good oral and written English communication skills, with ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • – Experience with Sketchup or Revit and Adobe photoshop is an asset
  • – Must have the ability to read Architectural drawings and details and understand construction methods.
  • – Knowledge and understanding of building envelope concepts is preferred
  • – Attention to detail, thoroughness in data gathering and accuracy in calculations
  • – Willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • – Self-motivated team player

Salary range: $45,000 – $60,000
